Practical Prophetic Keys

People often ask me for "prophetic keys" to living a supernatural lifestyle. I almost always start out with this: "If it's not practical it's probably not spiritual." So here are some practical and prophetic keys that I try to practice everyday along with scriptural references. Remember: The prophetic and all of the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit are really about knowing Jesus more and revealing who He is to the people and world around us. 1). Develop a healthy fear of the Lord

The fear of the Lord is not being afraid of God, it is absolute obedience no matter what it costs.

Choose to be abandoned to obedience today!

Pray this prayer with me today: "Lord, show me what's on the other side of my obedience." Oswald Chambers said: “Find a man that fears man and he will fear everything, find a man that fears God and he will fear nothing.” The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Psalms 85:9 "Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
 that glory may dwell in our land." Psalms 103:11-12 "For as the heavens are high above the earth,
 So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
 As far as the east is from the west,
 So far has He removed our transgressions from us." Psalms 118:6 "The Lord is on my side what can man do to me?" 2). Be imitators of God, not man Ephesians 5:1 "Be imitators of God." Do as He Does! I want to prophesy, I want to see miracles and healings but most of all I want to see God!

I've been praying "Lord, give me a dream about you!" 3). Live a life that stands for purity

Purity is a magnet for the presence of God. Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God!" 1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,[a] in faith, in purity." 2 Corinthians 6:3 "We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed." 1 Corinthians 6:20 "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s." I believe Holiness is coming upon this generation as a grace not an obligation. 4). Develop right motives that produce right actions If you want to increase in the life of God than you must settle in your heart that you will never resist the Holy Spirit. 5). Continually pursue love because God is Love an Love never fails!

Remember the ONE you are pursuing is Pursuing you. Therefore you are actually on a collision course with God today! Get ready to bump into Him!

Psalms 84:2 "My soul longs, yes, even faints
 for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." 6). Matthew 6:33: "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all of these things will be added unto you." 7). Be willing to dive deep The way up is down. The way higher is deeper. Colossians 2:2 "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
