Dear Friends and Family,

As we begin to step into this wonderful season and celebrate the miracle of Christmas, I want to share with you some of the many miracles that have happened through Father’s Heart Ministries this year. Molly and I are so honored to have you as friends and partners in our ministry, as we endeavor to reach the world with the love of Jesus. We would not be able to do what we do without your persistent prayers, faithful giving, and constant encouragement. Words cannot express our gratitude to have you as a vital part of our ministry and extended family.

2009 has been another year of tremendous harvest.  We have watched in awe and wonder as more than 2,500 people made first time commitments for Jesus Christ.  In my opinion, there is no greater miracle than the miracle of salvation. I love watching people give their lives to Jesus and be transformed by His unconditional love and mercy. We have also watched God heal the sick through the power of the Holy Spirit in powerful ways. One of the most amazing testimonies came out of one of our many missions trips to South America this year. A new born baby boy named Juan David was born without a pupil in his right eye, and during one of our meetings, God completely healed him and restored his sight. As a result of this miracle, both of his parents accepted Jesus Christ.

Throughout our travels this year there s23eems to be a new spiritual hunger and desperation around the world. People are looking for hope in a time filled with uncertainty and crisis. This seems to be increasing even right here in the United States.  This has been one of our greatest years of ministry within our own borders, as existing relationships have been maintained, and new doors have been opening from coast to coast. I honestly believe we are on the verge of a great awakening and unprecedented harvest right here in America. In response and preparation to the time and opportunities at hand, we have focused on equipping believers and training leaders to do the work of the ministry. In 2010 we are going to be launching some new specialized ministry training seminars in local churches and through DVD, as well as webcasts. More details will follow on the all new Fathers Heart Website, www.fathersheartministries.org, set to launch in January, 2010.

Our passion and commitment to world missions has continued and even increased throughout this year as well. In fact we have travelled outside the United States 21 times this year in our endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission. We have continued to establish churches and equip a new generation of ministers and leaders throughout Central and South America. We are also partnering with other ministries and missionaries to build orphanages in Venezuela and Thailand. One of the highlights of 2009 came in June when I was able to bring my 12 year old daughter Arah, and 9 year old son Benjamin, on their first missions trips to Panama and Nicaragua. They ministered along side of me as we preached the Gospel, prayed for the sick, and fed the poor, in the garbage dumps of Managua. It is such an honor to watch this next generation of children step into their destinies at such early ages. God is moving in and through them as their faith is pure and limitless.

I believe that this is a time to expect God’s best and to position ourselves to soar out of 2009 into 2010. There is a great anticipation in my heart for what is to come. I sense that next year is going to be a year of turn-a-round for many of us as the Lord releases His promises upon us suddenly.  Webster’s dictionary defines the word suddenly as: “happening unexpectedly; changing angle all at once; marked by abruptness; brought about in a short time.”  There is no doubt in my mind that we are in a season of the unexpected where the events that are happening around us may even seem abrupt and illogical, however I believe God is accelerating His end-time purposes to bring about a restoration of His glory on the earth before the return of His Son Jesus. Some of these acts are ‘outbursts of His passion’ and the ultimate end will far exceed our wildest imagination!

With this in mind, I want to share five things the Lord laid upon my heart in anticipation of what is on the way for us. 1. Be tuned in – God speaks when we least expect it.  2. Be vigilant – We have to respond to the storms of life when we least expect them.  3. Be prepared – Prepare to accommodate the promises of God. 4. Be ready – There’ll be demands on our anointings and miracles will happen when you least expect them. 5. Be expectant - Encounters with God will happen when we least expect them.

Molly and I would also like to take this opportunit456y to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for all of your love and prayers as we continue to reveal the heart of the Father to the nations.

Blessings and Miracles,

David Wagner
